Tennis Lessons in River Valley
River Valley has many condominiums, and several of them have their own tennis court. Our coaches come to your court, so learning tennis fits around a busy week in the city.
Tennis lessons in River Valley with TM Tennis Academy are one-hour sessions at your condo court or a public court you book, with the coach meeting you there. A private lesson is S$109. A pair lesson is S$119 for both players, and group lessons for three or four players are S$45 a person.
Where Tennis Lessons in River Valley Take Place
We currently do not have a tennis court of our own, so every lesson happens at a court near you. If your condominium has a tennis court, that is usually the easiest place to start.
If you were searching for a River Valley tennis academy, this is how we work: you secure the court, and the coach plans the hour around your level. Each lesson runs for one hour, at a time that fits your court booking.
Condo Tennis Courts in River Valley
Several developments in and around River Valley have their own tennis courts. River Place at 60 Havelock Road, Valley Park at 475 River Valley Road and Rivergate at 93 Robertson Quay all list tennis courts among their facilities.
Residents usually book the court through their condo’s own system, following its rules on guests and coaches. Once you have a slot, we match the coach to it, and that is how we arrange tennis lessons in River Valley at a condo court. Our condo tennis lessons page explains how this works in more detail.

Lessons Without a Condo Court
If your building has no tennis court, you can book a public court and the coach meets you there. Public courts across Singapore are booked through ActiveSG, and we can help you find a slot if you are unsure where to start.
Court fees are paid separately from the lesson, unless we agree otherwise when you book. Families in neighbouring Tiong Bahru can read about our tennis lessons in Tiong Bahru.
Getting Around River Valley
The area is served by Great World MRT Station (TE15) at 351 River Valley Road. Great World, the shopping mall at 1 Kim Seng Promenade, is a useful landmark when you give directions.
Because the coach travels to you, there is no travel to plan for lessons at your own condo. If you book a public court, tell us the address and we will plan the coach’s route.
Private, Pair and Group Lessons in River Valley
A private tennis lesson gives you the coach’s full attention for the hour, which suits beginners and anyone fixing one part of their game. A pair lesson suits couples, friends or two siblings of a similar level.
A small group of three or four players costs less per person and gives everyone a rally partner. Our group tennis lessons page explains how groups are put together.
Tennis Lessons in River Valley for Children
A condo court lets children start lessons after school with no travel to arrange. The coach uses games and short drills so young players stay busy and have fun.
Our kids tennis lessons are S$99 an hour. Siblings can share a pair lesson, and a few neighbours’ children can form a small group.
How Often to Train
A weekly lesson is a common starting point for working adults, and it gives you time to practise between sessions. If you want faster progress, a second weekly lesson or some practice on your own court helps.
Our article on how often to train with a tennis coach looks at weekly schedules in more detail.
Booking Your Lessons
To start tennis lessons in River Valley, message us with your court, your level and the days that suit you, and we will suggest a coach and a weekly slot. Please book at least three working days ahead, so we have time to arrange the coach.
You can start with a single lesson and choose a package after it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the coach teach at any River Valley condo?
Yes, as long as your condo allows an outside coach on its court. Check the guest and coaching rules with your management office first, then send us your booked slot.
Do I need my own racket for the first lesson?
Not for the first lesson. Tell us when you book, and the coach can advise on a racket of the right size and weight before you buy one.
What happens if it rains during the lesson?
If a lesson is stopped within the first 30 minutes, only a 30-minute fee is charged. If it is stopped after 30 minutes, the full fee applies, and any remaining time may be carried forward to another session.
What happens if the coach has to cancel?
If TM Tennis Academy or the coach cancels a lesson, it is rescheduled at no extra cost to you. We will contact you to agree a new date and time.
