Tennis Courts In Singapore
Singapore has public tennis courts in every region, run by ActiveSG and booked online. This guide lists the 12 ActiveSG tennis centres, explains how to book tennis courts and what they cost, and covers the two centres people search for most, Kallang and Yio Chu Kang.
ActiveSG lists 12 public tennis centres in Singapore, including Kallang, Yio Chu Kang, Pasir Ris and Jurong West. You book these tennis courts online through MyActiveSG+. A court costs S$3.50 an hour off-peak and S$9.50 at peak for Singapore Citizens and PRs.
Where To Find Public Tennis Courts In Singapore
ActiveSG lists 12 tennis facilities across the island on its tennis facilities page. In the east are Kallang Tennis Centre at 8 Stadium Boulevard, Heartbeat @ Bedok ActiveSG Tennis Centre on Level 7 of Heartbeat@Bedok, and Pasir Ris Tennis Centre at 120 Pasir Ris Central.
In the west are Jurong West Tennis Centre, Choa Chu Kang Tennis Centre, ActiveSG Sport Village @ Jurong Town and Senja-Cashew Tennis Centre on Bukit Panjang Road. The north and northeast have Yio Chu Kang Tennis Centre, Bishan Clubhouse, Burghley Tennis Centre and Punggol Sheltered Courts. MOE (Evans) Tennis Centre on Evans Road serves the centre of the island.
Condominiums and private clubs have courts too, for their residents and members.
How To Book Tennis Courts On ActiveSG
Every public centre is booked through ActiveSG. Each facility page has a Book link for its courts, which opens the booking timeslots on MyActiveSG+, ActiveSG’s booking platform. Pick the centre, the date and the hour, then pay online to confirm.
Tennis allows 2 slots a day per user, so you can book two one-hour slots back to back. The person who made the booking must be at the court and play in the group, and ActiveSG carries out random checks on site.
Tennis Court Rates In Singapore
ActiveSG charges per court per hour, and the rate depends on the time of day. These are the rates on ActiveSG’s individual rates page.
For Singapore Citizens and PRs, a court costs S$3.50 an hour off-peak and S$9.50 an hour at peak. The standard rate for other players is S$4.60 off-peak and S$12.40 at peak.
Peak hours are 6pm to 10pm on weekdays, and 7am to 10pm on weekends and public holidays. Off-peak is 7am to 6pm on weekdays, which makes a weekday daytime slot the best value.
Kallang Tennis Centre
Kallang Tennis Centre is at 8 Stadium Boulevard and opens daily from 7am to 10pm. ActiveSG’s guide to where to play tennis calls it the biggest public tennis centre in Singapore, with 14 courts. Alongside the courts you can book a tennis wall court, which is useful for practising on your own.
The centre is managed by Kallang Sport Centre. If you live or work nearby, our tennis lessons in Kallang can be held at a court close to you.
Yio Chu Kang Tennis Centre
Yio Chu Kang Tennis Centre is at 200 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 9, near Yio Chu Kang MRT station, and opens daily from 7am to 10pm. It has 9 courts, listed as tennis courts and mini tennis courts, and it is managed by Yio Chu Kang Sport Centre.
Mini tennis courts are smaller courts used by young children learning the game, and our kids tennis lessons start children on the right court size. For players in the north, our tennis lessons in Ang Mo Kio can use a court in the area.

Tennis Courts In The East, West And North
In the east, Heartbeat @ Bedok has its tennis centre on Level 7, and Pasir Ris Tennis Centre sits in Pasir Ris Central. In the west, Jurong West Tennis Centre and Choa Chu Kang Tennis Centre serve the western estates, and Senja-Cashew Tennis Centre has 2 courts inside Senja-Cashew Community Club. In the northeast, Punggol Sheltered Courts at Sentul Crescent are shared between pickleball and tennis.
We run lessons across these areas, including tennis lessons in Bedok in the east and Jurong West in the west.
Tips For Getting A Tennis Court
Evening and weekend slots are peak hours, so book those early. Weekday mornings and afternoons are off-peak, cheaper and easier to get.
Outdoor courts may close in bad weather as a safety measure, so check the weather and the ActiveSG facility page before you go. Bring your own racket, water and a towel, as you would for any session.
Tennis Lessons At Your Court
Our coaches teach at your condo court or at public tennis courts, and we are happy to help you book one. Our private tennis lessons are S$109 a lesson, or S$1,200 for 12 lessons, and each lesson runs for one hour.
Tell us your area, whether you have a condo court and the times that suit you, and we will match you with a coach. Tap the button below to message us on WhatsApp.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I practise tennis on my own in Singapore?
Kallang Tennis Centre has a tennis wall court that you book like any other court. ActiveSG’s guide also lists Farrer Park Tennis Centre on Rutland Road with 2 practice walls, and MOE (Evans) Tennis Centre with a practice wall beside its courts.
Is there a separate rate for NUS tennis courts?
Yes. ActiveSG’s rates page gives the NUS courts their own line and lists a peak-hour price only. Both the Citizen and PR price and the standard price match the peak prices at the other public centres.
Which public tennis centre is closest to the city?
MOE (Evans) Tennis Centre at 21 Evans Road is the only one of the 12 in ActiveSG’s Central region. ActiveSG’s guide lists 5 courts and a practice wall there, booked through MyActiveSG+ like the other centres.
Can I have a tennis lesson at a public court?
Yes. Our coaches teach at ActiveSG public courts as well as condo courts across Singapore. Send us your area and preferred times, and we will suggest a nearby centre and help you book a slot there.
